When asked yesterday afternoon by The National Ledger whether he was a suspect, Cutts responded, "I mean, they continue to say that I'm not a suspect but I, I mean, I would be dumb and naive to think that they weren't treating me as a suspect by different things I've had to go through in the past couple days."
Prior to the search of Cutts' home, Stark County Sheriff Chief Deputy Rick Perez held a press conference to announce the FBI's offer of a $10,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the whereabouts of Jessie Davis. He also said that his department has received more than 500 tips and possible sightings of Jessie.

"Time is of the essence; that's why the FBI offered a reward," Perez said. "We are reviewing all information sent to us."
Perez also released some grainy surveillance footage images of Jessie shopping at a North Canton Acme store three hours before the last-known conversation with her mother.

"We're hoping that when someone views these pictures, maybe that will stir their memory as to maybe seeing Jessie somewhere since then or prior to that."
In the coming days, investigators should have a clearer picture in regard to whether or not Cutts is involved in Jessie's disappearance. In the meantime, they say they will have to revaluate the geographic areas prior to launching another search.
