CANTON, OH (Crime Library) — Last week, Jessie Marie Davis, nine-months pregnant, vanished from her North Canton home.  She has had not contacted family or friends, and police now say that she could be the victim of foul play.

On Friday morning, Patty Porter made a troubling discovery when she went to visit her daughter, 26-year-old Jessie Marie Davis.  When Patty entered her daughter's house, she found her two-year-old grandson, Blake, home alone.  He was wearing a dirty diaper, and the house was in a state of disarray.

"I said ... 'Where's Mommy?'" Patty told FOX News.  "And he just said, 'Mommy broke the table, and Mommy's in the rug.'"

According to Stark County Sheriff Chief Dep. Rick Perez, Jessie was last heard from Wednesday when she spoke to her mother on the telephone.  Police found no signs of forced entry at her residence.  However, her cell phone, along with the blankets from her bed, are missing.  Adding to the mystery — there is no indication that she had left of her accord — her car was parked outside, and her purse was found inside of it.

"We feel that there possibly is foul play; however, we're still investigating it as a missing person," said Perez at a news conference on Monday.

Yesterday, Patty talked about her daughter's disappearance on "The Early Show" on CBS.  She mentioned the previously published details about the house being in disarray, but then also said that someone had poured bleach on the floor.  "The smell in the house was really overwhelming," Patty said.
