The Lynching of Leo Frank

Despite the glaring injustice done to Leo Frank --- both judicially and by the lynch mob --- this case remains relatively obscure.  It has inspired no significant literature, as have other famous cases, such as Sacco and Vanzetti or the Lindbergh kidnapping, and there are a mere half dozen factual accounts of the case. One can find brief comments and observations in a number of biographies and memoirs, but these do not substantially add to the thorough account by Dinnerstein.  In 1999, a Broadway musical, "Parade," appeared to mixed reviews and ran for less than a year.  It persists only in an original cast recording.
