Phoenix, AZ — Mark Goudeau, the man that Phoenix, Arizona, prosecutors accuse of being the "Baseline Killer," wants his trial moved out of Phoenix.  Goudeau has pled not guilty to a 74-count indictment, and his attorneys are asking for a change of venue.  According to Corwin Townsend, defense attorney for Goudeau, his client's chances for a fair trial have been hurt because the police chief, mayor, and county attorney have already declared him guilty.  Goudeau has been in custody since September, when he was arrested for an unrelated assault.  The Baseline Killer case includes 23 shootings and rapes that left nine people dead.

New Westminster, British Columbia — A witness who claims she saw Robert Pickton butchering a victim has been subpoenaed to testify.   During an interrogation after his arrest in 2002, Pickton acknowledged that the woman was trying to blackmail him.  In an effort to persuade him to confess to murder, investigators told Pickton that it was because she saw him skin a woman hanging from a meat hook.  A videotape of the interview has been played for the jury.
