Since her death, several of her friends have posted messages to her profile. On September 7, a user with the screen name Chosen left this heartfelt message:

"I wish I could have gotin this to you. I remember when we used to dance in the car with angela to ronnie milsap. I saw you on t.v. today. Wish I could go back in time and tell you what was going to happen. I know you will never get this but one last comment you were a good friend ... I never saw you upset, never saw you mad. Always smiling, always happy. Im going to miss you."— [sic] throughout.

Investigators have made no further comment on either girl's death. Earlier this week, Erin's body was released to her family, at which time it was cremated. Kelly's autopsy was conducted on Saturday, and according to the medical examiner's office, the findings were inconclusive. Toxicology and other tests are pending.

While investigators may have had good reason for keeping a tight lid on the investigation into Erin's death, there should be concern in regard to whether that approach may have endangered Kelly, if it turns out her death was also a homicide.
