In the aftermath of the murders, many retail chains, including ToysRUs, have pulled all of their Chris Benoit action figures, DVDs and other merchandise from their shelves.  Some child psychology experts have expressed concern about the impact the murders will have on younger wrestling fans.

"I think that this is going to be very disturbing for kids," Nadine Kaslow, chief psychologist at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, told ABC News yesterday.  "They've lost a hero in multiple ways.  In one sense, you have the death of someone who was admired; that's a loss.  But then you also have the loss of respect — we hope — for someone because murder-suicide is such a severe form of domestic abuse."

Children are not the only ones having a difficult time with the tragedy.  Dave Meltzer, editor of the Wrestling Observer, summed up the situation well yesterday during an interview with The Associated Press.

"You always rooted for him because he was a good guy and he overcame the odds," Meltzer said.  "It's like if you watched Rocky, and in the end, it comes out that Rocky killed his wife and his son."
