MUMBAI, India — Due to a clerical error, suspected serial killer Ravindra Kantrolle has been granted bail and was freed from jail pending the outcome of his trial.  According to Kantrolle's lawyer, Sushan Kunjuraman, his client was granted bail because police failed to file the charge sheet within the required 90 day time period.  "Kantrolle has been granted bail of Rs 25,000 for a murder case in which he was arrested on February 20," Kunjuraman told the Press Trust of India.  Police say Kantrolle committed multiple murders in South Mumbai.  A trial date has not been set.

BEGUSARAI, India — Last week authorities arrested eight-year-old Amardeep Sada, a boy they claim is the youngest serial killer in the world.  New details have emerged this past week, including a confirmation by authorities that Sada has confessed to the crimes.  "He said he took the children to the fields and hit them with a stone and killed them," Inspector Shatrudhan Kumar said, according to an article by the Telegraph.co.uk.  During his confession, Kumar said Sada "smiled a lot and asked for biscuits."  Sada is accused of murdering three children in the past year.  He was caught last week while attempting to bury the remains of his third victim, a six-month-old girl, in a nearby field.  Sada is currently under psychiatric care.
