In an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Latrobe Police Chief Chuck Huska said his department does not suspect foul play in Arley's disappearance.  He also said his department is still actively pursuing the case.  "We were all relieved when we heard she did call, but we are still looking for her and hope that she telephones her parents or police so we can find out more information," Huska said.

Arley's family does not know what to believe. 

"Never did I ever think she would go that long and be okay and not call," McCleary said as the interview came to a close.  "I just don't understand if someone is influencing her or if there is some issue that I don't; there are so many unanswered questions." 

Arley Earhart, 16, was last seen on January 5, after her boyfriend dropped her off at the BP Pit Quik Stop across the street from her high school on Route 982.  Arley's boyfriend, whose name has not been released, passed a polygraph test, and is not considered a person of interest in her disappearance.  There have been a few reported sightings of Arley over the last few weeks; however, each one has proved to be erroneous.

On the day she disappeared, Arley was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  She is described as having blonde hair, green eyes, is 5' 6" and weighs about 120 pounds.  A $5,000 reward is being offered for her successful location and return.  Anyone with information should call the Latrobe Police Department at 724-836-1551.
