IONIAMAXIMUM CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, MI — On December 1, 1979, Joseph Foy was a witness to the brutal murder of Helen Dutcher, 36.  While standing on his back porch, Joseph saw Coral Eugene Watts stab Helen a dozen times in the face, neck and chest.  The horrific scene was forever burned into his memory.  Thanks to Joseph's testimony, Watts was found guilty, and received a life sentence for Helen's murder.  Nonetheless, Joseph is not content; he wants Watts to come forward and admit to countless other murders that he is suspected of committing.  In a recent Internet blog post, Joseph urged readers to contact Watts, and ask him to speak up.  "I must ask this of all of you because I owe it to them," he writes.  "We need to be the voice of these untold number of victims who were someone's Daughter, Mom, Sister, or Wife."  It is Joseph's hope that a public outcry will convince Watts to start talking.

LOS ANGELES, CA.  Today, Superior Court Judge William R. Pounders upheld a jury's recommendation, and sentenced convicted serial killer Chester D. Turner, 40, to death.  In April, a six-man, six-woman jury found Turner guilty of murdering 10 women and a fetus between 1987 and 1998.  Turner's attorneys have not said whether their client will appeal the verdict.

UNITED KINGDOM  Disgraced pop music mogul Jonathan King, 62, is in the news again, following the release of a song he wrote claiming convicted serial killer Harold Shipman was a victim of the media and that the people he murdered wanted to die.  Some of the lyrics read as follows:  "Police will inflate and the law says it's fine to accommodate tabloids with a solid headline/But a real psycho monster who's killing for fame would leave notes for acclaim to establish his name.  Some people will sigh when they're waiting to die/Won't you please speed it up as I'm starting to cry/There's one thing he ain't and that's saviour or saint/But a pleading complaint didn't pass him by."  The complete song, along with a montage of photos, is available on YouTube.  King, a former producer for Genesis, is a convicted pedophile who received a seven year prison sentence in 2001 for sexually abusing five boys aged 14 through 15.
