The Sunny Acres Trailer Park was a 2-minute, 2-mile drive from the Hooter's at 3221 Ambassador Caffery. Lemoine Drive was equidistant from either location, the midpoint.

What happened after Ashley Barker left the Hooter's parking lot? How did her hubcap end up 2 miles away, and Ashley a mile away, murdered?

Early Thursday, June 22, 2006, Lafayette authorities still had few answers.

"My name is Ashley, I am 19 and I am from Louisiana. I am on here looking for good friends . . . A little bit about myself, I am a bartender and one day want to own my own bar. I like to hang out around my house and watch movies . . . I like going out to eat with friends, going out to the movies (. . .) I am looking for good friends(,) good people. . ."

Ashley last logged in to her MySpace account on March 6, 2006. She had 14 friends attached to her profile, and Tiffany Brigola was the friend most often leaving comments.
