The Wiese family also updated their website, coreenwiese.com.  "It is with great sadness that we report Coreen Wiese has been found deceased," a message at the top of the page reads.  "The Wiese family would like (to) thank everyone from the bottom of their hearts for their various search efforts to help find Coreen.  May God Bless You All."

Coreen's discovery came not long after her friends and family held a candlelight vigil for her at Bonny Eagle Middle School in Buxton.  Over 100 people showed up for the event, which marked the six-month anniversary of Coreen's disappearance.  Speaking with the Maine Sunday Telegram, officer Grovo said, "It'll never be a closed case until we find her."  Three days later Coreen was pulled from the river bank.
