Investigators have seized Burns' truck, a late-model, red, Ford F-150 pickup.
Monday, Burns admitted to detectives he had sex with Jackie early Sunday morning, but claimed he dropped her off at her home in Gilbert about 5:00 a.m. Then, he said, he returned to his house in Mesa.
However, according to police, Burns' cell phone records show that he left the Mesa and Gilbert area southeast of Phoenix and headed north on state Highway 87. He wasn't seen again until 11:00 a.m.

During his interview with police, Burns could not account for his whereabouts between five and eleven o'clock Sunday morning.
Police officials have also said they have evidence that the sex Burns admitted to having with Jackie Hartman was not consensual, although they did not elaborate on the exact nature of that evidence.
