Gray and Dandridge, who were arrested in Philadelphia, have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the brutal slayings of rocker Bryan Harvey and his family in Richmond. The 49-year-old rocker, his wife Kathryn and their two young daughters, Stella, 9, and Ruby, 3, were found bound and beaten with their throats slit in the basement of their burning home on New Year's Day. Five days later, Percyell Tucker, his wife, Mary Baskerville Tucker, and her stepdaughter, Ashley Baskerville, were found bound and slain in their Richmond home.
Gray and Dandridge, who were captured after fleeing north in Percyell Tucker's stolen Chevrolet Blazer, also have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder in those slayings. Investigators now believe that Ashley Baskerville, a troubled young woman who reportedly had grown close to Dandridge, may have been involved, at least as a lookout, in the Harvey slaying, and have said that she was also with the men during a home invasion in Chesterfield County two days after the Harveys were killed. But authorities, under a gag order in the cases, have so far declined to say whether they believe that Baskerville and her family were the victims of a robbery, or whether the two men allegedly killed them to keep them from talking.

Authorities in Virginia have linked Gray and Dandridge to at least one other attack. The two men have reportedly admitted that they slit the throat of a 25-year-old Arlington man on New Year's Eve. The victim in that attack survived, though the attack was reportedly so vicious that the knives used to carry it out broke.
And investigators from Culpepper County were scheduled to meet last week with Richmond detectives to probe one more case, the death of Sheryl Warner, a mother of three who was found hanged with electrical cord in her burning basement with a bullet in her head. Authorities in Culpepper said that while there were substantial differences between the Warner slaying and the deaths in Richmond, they were studying the case to determine whether the two men could be linked to it.
