(Crime Library) —It has been two weeks since John Raymond "Woody" Woodring forced his way into a domestic violence shelter and shot his wife dead. Since then, heavy news coverage has still not resulted in his capture.
I have discovered some very interesting finds in the last few days. The first thing I came across was another, more interesting Myspace.com profile Woody has online. I previously found one a week or so ago, however that one was blank. The reason I had trouble locating it was because, once again, Woody lied about his age. In this profile he states he is 37 years old. Either he suffers from split personalities, or he simply cannot keep his own age straight. Actually, I think the real reason was so his wife, Bonnie, could not easily find out about his extracurricular activities.

Within his Myspace profile, which he titled: "I am ready for some fun," Woody described his interests as, "camping, hiking, mountain biking and just anything that has to do with nature." Adding, "A swim in the lake in the summer heat is a big one!"

In the section labeled "About Me" Woody said he considered himself outgoing and said he was "willing to try anything once, and maybe a few more than that if its (sic) fun enough." Now what I personally find ironic is what he wrote after that: "I am someone who usually sees the good side of things and I am a very loyal friend." A very loyal friend he says. Wow. Apparently you're better off being his friend then you are his wife.
