On September 7, the top headline at Whiotv.com read, "Police: 2 Teens Found Dead In Same House." The article went on to say:

"Officers with the Centerville, Ind., police department rushed to a house in the 700 block of Elm Drive around 8 a.m. Friday morning ... Authorities said a 911 call came into dispatch on Friday morning, reporting an unresponsive teenager."

The teenager in question was Erin's sister, 18-year-old Kelly Stanley. According to police, she was already dead when they arrived on the scene. Unlike Erin's death, police did not hesitate to label her sister's as suspicious.

"It is kind of strange circumstances that you find two deaths in the same home within just a few days of each other," state police Sgt. Noel Houze told Theindychannel.com.
