LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (Crime Library)  — St. Cloud police have made a second arrest in the killing of 21-year-old Lewis James Wilczek, a young and successful business owner who was murdered in April 2006. Not long afterwards, police apprehended Jeremy Jason Hull, 24, a man they allege killed Lewis as part of a poorly planned identity theft scheme. Last week, police arrested Hull's girlfriend, Casey Jo Oldenburg, 25, a woman they say was an accomplice to the murder.

Due to the number of agencies involved in this case, it was decided early on that the Minnesota Attorney General's office would handle it. On August 15, Assistant Attorney General Eric Schieferdecker charged Oldenburg with one count of aiding an offender as an accomplice after the fact — obstructing an investigation.

Police theorize that on April 29, Hull lured Lewis to his apartment on the promise to repay money Lewis suspected him of stealing. It was there police believe that Hull murdered Lewis and then transported his body to Milo Township, where police later found Lewis' charred remains in a shallow grave. The Anoka County Medical Examiner's Office used dental records to identify Lewis. According to the autopsy results, he died from homicidal violence. After killing Lewis, Hull transferred $50,000 from Lewis' savings account to his checking account. Hull then went on a spending spree, which included the purchase of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a new leather jacket for Oldenburg.

The court complaint charging Oldenburg says that she was with Hull on April 30, when he purchased gasoline to burn Lewis' body and shovels to bury his remains.
