SUGAR LAND, Tx.  (Crime Library) — Ashton Glover, age 16, vanished while out driving in the mud ('mudding') with friends on Saturday, July 8. The dark-haired teen was last seen getting into a light-colored Toyota pickup truck about half-past midnight with two males. Friends speculated that she knew at least one of the men.

Ashton Glover's body was found on Monday July 10th in Fort Bend County, Texas (TX).

The Houston Chronicle reported Monday that Fort Bend County Sheriff Milton Wright said Glover's body was identified based on clothing and distinctive jewelry.

A construction crew laying utility lines for a new housing development discovered Glover's remains near the intersection of Oil Field Road and Thompson's Ferry in Fort Bend.

Fort Bend's news website, www.fortbendnow.com, reported that Glover's Ford Ranger pickup was also found Monday, parked in a residential neighborhood behind a local grocery store, not far from Ashton's own home.

The article on FortBendNow.com also related an interesting development in the investigation. The same night Glover and her pickup disappeared, a security videotape captured images of a man moving Ashton Glover's truck early in the morning on July 8th from where it was parked in a coffee shop parking lot.
