A male friend of Jamie's, Tommy Frees, told the Spokesman-Review that GPS had located Jamie's cell phone in Ellensburg, WA on Saturday.

Spokane investigators were convinced through talking with Jamie Lynn Drake's friends and family that she had not run away from her life. For Jamie there were no known issues that often figure into someone leaving without warning: no mental illness, no drugs; basically no reason anyone could determine for Jamie to simply one day vanish.

Jamie's friend Jameila Al-Shabaley told the Spokesman-Review that theirs was a close network of friends. Al-Shabaley was sure Jamie would have called one of them by now.

But Jamie hasn't called anyone.

Jamie Lynn Drake was proud of was her Mustang.

On her MySpace photo album Jamie had a photo of her leaning on the hood of the car. The image was of a pretty brunette with friendly smile, and a car that appeared to be in excellent condition. Jamie Lynn captioned the photo, "This is my beautiful 93 Mustang GT!!!! And yes it is a 5 speed!!!"
