Lincoln County Prosecutor Jeff Meyer is currently reviewing all of the evidence in the case. He is expected to file two first-degree murder warrants against the couple upon their arrival back in Lincoln County.
Chief Gutschenritter has not yet commented on a possible motive in the killings. However, he has told local media that he hopes Grandon and Solie will be tried as adults.

Yesterday, law enforcement officers pointed out the similarities between this case and that of Charles Starkweather. Back in the 1950s, the James Dean wannabe and his teen girlfriend, Caril Ann Fugate, toured the Midwest, murdering 11 people during a road trip through Nebraska and Wyoming. Starkweather inspired several films, including Badlands and Natural Born Killers.
