Angelika's MySpace bulletin was disseminated throughout the MySpace user community by several friends and relatives.  In an amazing stroke of luck, it ended up in the hands of two women whom she now describes as her "angels."

"I had two leads from two ladies who actually recognized the description of the car.

They saw my message on MySpace.  Two days prior, they saw the car, and they thought it was odd that the windows were rolled down and the way it was parked; the back windows were rolled down, and it was parked away from the curb.  It was like that for two days.  One of the ladies is a school bus driver and that was her route through that area and she saw the car...She called me about 5:15 (less than three hours after the bulletin was first posted) and told me she was at the car, and she matched the license plate and description of the car to the MySpace bulletin.  They actually walked over to the car while I was on the phone and told me that they saw a body in the car.  At the time, we didn't know he was stripped down to his boxers and socks.  She saw the white socks and a silhouette of the body because the car had tinted windows, so she immediately flagged down a neighbor to call the police."

According to officials with the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office, they have not yet determined a cause of death, and the police department has made no official comments on the investigation, other than to say the death is suspicious.

"Right now, since it is an open investigation, they aren't giving information to the family or anyone... They want this to be very confidential for right now till they figure out what is going to happen next.  They have ruled it as a homicide.  They're just trying to find as many leads as possible.  I provided them with his phone records, and they were able to get two leads from the phone calls he made that day.  So right now they have several hot leads.  So that's where we are at right now."

As the investigation continues, Gregory's family is preparing to say their final goodbyes.  His funeral is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Friday Feb. 2, at New Creation Church in San Diego.  Donations can be sent to Angelika Harper, P.O. Box 131372, San Diego, CA 92170.
