According to Sheriff Spoden, Danyetta and her husband are estranged, and they have been unsuccessful in trying to contact him. His identity has not been released.

The investigation into the murders is ongoing. The sheriff's department is waiting for forensic evidence from the state crime laboratory; however, due to recent backlogs, it could take several days before they get any results.
