NOIDA, India — Earlier today authorities found the skeletons of eight children buried in a drainage ditch not far from Delhi.  According to late breaking reports, a 30-year-old man has confessed to the crimes.  At least 38 children have been reported missing in Noida in the last two years.  The suspect, a mentally challenged man, is said to have lured the children with candy.  Once he got them to a concealed location, he would rape and strangle them.  All of the victims were between 3-11 years of age.  While the reason has not been made clear, the suspect's employer has also been arrested.  The investigation continues.

NOIDA, India — Yesterday the bodies of eight children were unearthed from a drainage ditch in a local village.  Today, authorities have discovered an additional eight skeletons.  "We have recovered 16 skeletons till now, but the figure could rise as more skeletal remains are being found from the drain," said Rajesh Kumar Singh Rathore, senior superintendent of police, reports Indo Asian News Service.  The two suspects, Mohinder Singh Pandher, a millionaire businessman, and his servant Surendra Kohli, alias Satish, are accused of working together in the serial murders.  "It is too early to reveal the details of the investigations.  The two men would strangle the children, cut them into pieces and bury the bodies in a two-feet deep ditch behind the house,"  said a police official.  "We have recovered blades from the house that must have been used as cutters."  Both men have been charged with rape, murder, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy.

QUEENSLAND, Australia — Last week Convicted serial killer Leonard Fraser, 55, was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital after complaining of chest pains.  His condition continued to deteriorate and at 3.20am (AEST) he went into cardiac arrest and died.  Prior to his hospitalization last week, Fraser was serving a life sentence for the murders of three Rockhampton women and a schoolgirl.  Following the announcement of his death, Queensland Premier Peter Beattie, spoke briefly with members of the press.  "I don't think there will be a great deal of sympathy for him," Beattie said.  "His crimes were horrific and while no one likes to see someone pass away ... I don't think there will be a lot of grieving over his passing.  I don't think anyone will be shedding any tears."  A standard inquest will now be conducted to rule out the possibility of foul play.
