Nearly eight years after a chauffeur was shot to death in Jayson Williams' bedroom, the former basketball star accepted a plea bargain, pleading guilty to aggravated assault and accepting a prison sentence of at least 18 months, but avoiding manslaughter charges that could have cost him as much as 55 years in prison.
