Legendary football hall of famer Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to 6 years probation by a Rockland County, NY., judge on March 22, 2011, for having sex with an underage prostitute. Lawrence pleaded guilty in January to misdemeanor sexual misconduct, admitting that he paid the then-16-year-old runaway $300. The girl, now 17, was represented by famous attorney Gloria Allred. She was not allowed to issue an victim impact statement, because the judge presiding said such statements were only permitted during felony hearings. The former Giants linebacker will have to register as a sex offender.
