In a recent interview with ABC News, Peterson said, "Basically, I'm a good person. I do good things." On the subject of his not helping with the search for his wife, Peterson said, "Why would I go search for someone who I don't believe is there? Why would I go beat the weeds in the cold? It's a waste of time."
Last week, the Associated Press ran an article about Peterson's stepbrother, Thomas Morphey, who allegedly told a friend he had helped Peterson move a large rectangular container shortly after Stacy's disappearance.
Brodsky has since dismissed the allegations, claiming Morphey suffers from mental problems. Brodsky told the AP that he wondered if Morphey isn't "veering back and forth between the real world and whatever fantasy world he's living in."

On Tuesday, investigators served a search on Peterson's vehicles for the seizure of several items, including "biological material that may be evidence of the offense of first-degree murder."
Yesterday, police divers scoured the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal in Romeoville and Lockport for evidence in Stacy's disappearance. Several items were recovered; however, as of this writing, their significance to the investigation remains unknown.
