When Kelsey was just 12, his beloved grandfather died unexpectedly. The following year, his father was gunned down on the front lawn of his home in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Seven years later, Karen met her own tragic end, and then, in 1980, his twin brothers were killed in a scuba diving accident.

In a quote from Kelseygrammerfans.com, Kelsey had this to say about life:

"I think it's your duty to overcome what you inherit in life. It's the David Copperfield line: 'Am I going to be master of my fate, or its victim?' I'm not going to be its victim, though I've felt victimized — A LOT."

According to Colorado Department of Corrections spokeswoman, Katherine Sanguinetti, Glenn will be eligible for another hearing in six months.
