By Steve Huff

HOUSTON (Crime Library) —  "Im about to finish up school...livin back in H-town. I am very into college football...GO BUCKEYES!!! I know Im probably the only dude in Texas who likes Ohio State...but its cool. Astros are rockin it and I cant wait for them to win the pennant. Im 6'2, brown hair, blue eyes. I like gettin loose with friends over a few drinks and hangin out. If i could do anything for the rest of my life...i would own a custom designing surf shop right on the beach. I am currently single...been like that for awhile now. Always up for meeting new people and touching base with old friends!"  ~ from Nathanael Hendrickson's myspace.com account, http://www.myspace.com/natehend.

Nathanael 'Nate' Hendrickson is tall and handsome in a laid-back way in the profile photograph on his myspace page. He is standing, hands raised, thumbs up, a visor turned sideways and upside down on his head. He looks like he's speaking to a friend on the other side of the camera, the kind of good-humored taunting so many guys do with each other, faking as if they are about to start a fight only to break down in fits of laughter worthy of junior-high-school kids.

When people disappear, the details often seem too simple at first, too easy to relate in a dry, by-the-numbers way. On Wednesday, November 30, 2005, Nate Hendrickson was last seen by his parents working on his computer at the family home in Spring Valley, TX, near Houston. When his parents returned home his car was gone, but his cell phone and wallet were still in his room.

Nate Hendrickson has not been seen since.

There is always more to the story. Often only law enforcement knows, at first, what may have happened. Police confiscate computers, examine the hard drives, examine receipts left behind, calendars, journals, looking for patterns.
