In most of the cases, he left behind telltale samples of semen from which his DNA was culled. But sometime between 1992 and 1994, the attacker stopped leaving semen, and police speculate that he may have had a vasectomy, may have stopped producing sperm because of testicular cancer or chemo therapy, or perhaps simply lost the ability to ejaculate because of excessive drug use. Nonetheless, authorities were able to develop at least a partial profile of the man from the evidence he left behind. From his DNA, authorities were able to determine that he was 51 percent Caucasian and at least one third Native American. Authorities are still waiting for the FBI to finish a composite sketch of the rapist, who is now believed to be in his late forties or early fifties. At the time of his earliest attacks, he was described as Caucasian in appearance, standing between 5-feet-6 and 5-feet-9, and back then, he sported dark hair, busy eyebrows and a mustache.
