It wasn't until the following evening, after Michelle failed to show up as expected at her parents' house for dinner that anyone became alarmed.
In the days since, friends and fellow students have flooded the campus and its environs with fliers and police and volunteers have conducted extensive searches. Those searches are expected to continue today.
