Fawley allegedly is suggesting that he and Taylor were engaging in a practice called erotic asphyxiation. Wikpedia defines this as "partial asphyxiation by strangulation or suffocation of one person by another during sexual intercourse. The decrease of blood to the brain is said to heighten sexual pleasure. It can be dangerous and result in brain damage through loss of oxygenation to the brain, or in death through sudden cardiac arrest."

To make this alleged claim credible, one might inquire of Fawley's former girlfriends whether this was a practice in which he engaged. At least one of those girlfriends scoffed at the idea, calling sex with Fawley "vanilla."

Regarding Taylor and the nature of her relationship with Fawley: her mother and some close friends dispute an ongoing sexual relationship with Fawley that began and ended in April.  

"She did it once out of curiosity and then didn't want anything to do with him," Pelasara said. "He had a dark side, and Taylor wasn't a dark side kind of girl."

Taylor appeared to have stayed on good terms with Fawley even if the relationship was not sexual in nature.

Taylor's remains were found encased in a plastic bag and, according to a police spokeswoman, left in an "indentation" unburied. Fawley supposedly explained his actions from "panic" he felt after causing Taylor's death.
