As of Sept. 20, nine days after the announcement of Zorkot's arrest, the Detroit Free Press had published only two articles about it.

In one article, headlined "Armed Student's Motives Unclear," Free Press reporter Niraj Warikoo seemed to serve up an excuse for Zorkot's behavior. "Were those the actions of a confused young man or those of a potential terrorist with ill intentions?" Warikoo wrote.

Zorkot's writing doesn't seem confused, nor does the intense expression on his face, captured in the snapshots of him posing in front of Hezbollah posters and rockets on his most recent trip to Lebanon, betray any confusion or uncertainty. And is there such a thing as a terrorist with good intentions?

As of Sept. 20, a Yahoo news search of the name "Houssein Zorkot" combined with the word "Dearborn" revealed only seven news stories. By comparison, a Yahoo news search on the same day for "Larry Craig" and "Idaho," produced links to more than 5,500 news stories about the toe-tapping toilet-sitting senator.
