While she didn't have any internal injuries consistent with sexual assault, the criminalist still obtained a "rape kit" test for DNA. Results of the test were not included in the autopsy report.
The report indicated that Emmery's blood alcohol count was .08 percent and she didn't have any narcotics in her system.
But there was some sort of substance on the teen that couldn't immediately be accounted for. Her neckline, the front of her sweatshirt and one cuticle on her right hand had a pinkish stain. A special light was used and revealed that the stain appeared to trail out of her mouth and onto her neck. The light also showed what appeared to be a urine stain in the groin area of her jeans and a small, light-colored round stain on the upper left thigh area of her jeans, according to the report.

Emmery also had the name "Danny" printed on her palm with some sort of invisible ink.
Although real life is not exactly like television, some things are similar — like collecting samples.
"Four external stain kids were collected: the first being a swab to collect the material at the cuticle, a swab of a possible suction abrasion wound, of bright red coloring and approximately one inch in diameter observed at the right chest; a swab each of the left and right aspects of the neck; and swabs taken in an attempt to lift the material used...to create the writing on the hand," the criminalist wrote.
