Jennifer Deleon, 25, and Skylar's cousin, Mike Lewis, are charged with helping Skylar conceal the murder. The charges in the Jarvi case didn't occur until after the Deleons were in custody for the Hawks case because prosecutors didn't develop any leads until then.

But as evidenced with his father, Skylar Deleon didn't want witnesses testifying against him and he feared that Lewis would do just that, according to prosecutors. So on July 26, 2006, he solicited yet another inmate to murder Lewis. That plot was uncovered because it was overheard and a map of Lewis' home was seen being passed to the inmate, according to a law enforcement official.

Two days later Deleon was charged with soliciting both murders.

"Skylar Deleon is a cold blooded killer. I wouldn't be surprised if he's committed other murders that we don't know about," the law enforcement official said.
