The second victim was identified as Betzaida Montalvo, 29, a mother of five who, like the first victim, was a known drug user and occasional prostitute.  Betzaida had never been reported missing.  According to friends she was last seen in the late spring or early summer of 2003.

The manner of death in both cases was ruled "homicidal violence."  The similarities in the two cases were apparent from the start, but police were hesitant to put the blame on a single serial killer — that is, not until March 2004, when a third body was found about a mile away in Hudson.

On March 3, 2004, a landscape contractor discovered decomposed remains when he was clearing brush near a driving range about 20 feet from Birmingham Street.  The discovery was approximately 1.5 miles from the area where the first two sets of remains were found.  The victim was later identified as Dinelia Torres, 33.  As with the previous two victims, Dinelia had a history of drug addiction and prostitution.  During their investigation into her death, police discovered that in 1999 Dinelia and Rudy were both at the Linda Fay Griffin House, a residential substance abuse treatment program; however, it is not known if the two knew each other.

A fourth victim who had ties to drugs and prostitution was found murdered on September 18, 2004.  The victim, Wendy Morello, 42, was found in a trash container in Worcester's Main South neighborhood.  According to family members, she was last seen on September 5.  Police are hesitant to connect Wendy's murder to the previous three cases.
