Police believe Heather was murdered on April 13.  On April 17, someone posted the following message to Heather's MySpace blog:

Subject:Drama

Current mood: Sad

No one believes me and no one understands me.

You know who you are .........

I can't take this drama anymore.

I need to get out of this state!!!!!

The post was probably made by Bean in an attempt to make Heather's friends and family members think that she left town of her own accord.

With Bean in custody, police are now trying to locate Heather's remains so that her family can have some closure to her death.  They are also hoping to find someone who noticed Bean or the black pickup truck he rented on or around April 13 between 12:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon.  They would also like to speak to the cab driver who picked up Bean after he dropped off Heather's car and the person or persons who recently replaced the carpet in Bean's house, where investigators believe the murder took place.

"I'm hoping that the community will help," Lt. Teresa Deal, Heather's cousin, told WRTV News.  "I'm sure that they will, if they can, in attempting to locate Heather's remains.  The family does need that for closure."

In reviewing the details of this case, I find myself agreeing with Detective Lappin.  Bean was methodical in executing his plans; however, in the end, his mouth proved to be his own worst enemy.

Mark Twain once said, "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Joshua Bean is being held without bond in the Marion County Jail on an initial charge of murder.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
