Apparently, Bean's conscience got the best of him.  Until his arrest, police had little information connecting him to Heather's disappearance.  In fact, had he not confessed, he might still be free.  Regardless, the details he provided police were nothing short of horrifying.  But before you learn of Heather's death, you should get a glimpse of her life by looking at her presence on the popular social networking website MySpace.com.

For general interests, Heather posted the results of an online quiz that she had taken.  Apparently, she felt the test results were accurate enough to include in her profile: "You are a kind, sensitive, and giving person.  And all your good deeds will pay off—if they haven't already.  But you're not so concerned with what you get in return anyway.  You have an innate caring nature—and nothing can change that!"

Heather listed some of her music interests as Nine Inch Nails, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors.  For television, her favorite shows included Nip Tuck, The Sopranos and CSI.  Her favorite book was Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, and her hero was Patricia Gayle.

One of the images on her profile is a large mountain with fluffy white clouds hovering overhead.  Underneath the image, Heather added the following text:

"This is my mountain bitches climb this.  This is the spot that I had my first brush with death.  Hardcore."

Unfortunately, her second brush with death proved to be fatal.
