Geezer Gangster Strikes Again

By David Lohr

(Continued)

Not only does the web page provide visitors with a description of the Geezer Gangster and his criminal accomplishments, but it also highlights some of his numerous mug shots taken by bank security cameras.

"I am around 60 years old," the MySpace profile reads.  "I robbed a bank in North Little Rock, AR, on January 8th, one in Fort Smith, AR, on January 24, one in Van Buren, AR, on February 12, and one in Alma, AR, on February 22.  I always use a small caliber handgun to commit these robberies and I haven't been caught yet.  Nobody seems to be able to identify me and there is a sizable reward for information leading to my arrest, but so far, I am going undetected... I need to be stopped before somebody gets hurt."

Authorities describe the Geezer Gangster as a Caucasian male in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately 5'7" and 150 lbs.  He has what investigators describe as "noticeable scarring" on his neck and lower jaw.  He has gray hair and a bald spot on the crown of his head.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas Highway Police, Arkansas State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are coactively working the investigation together.  They say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police urge anyone with information on the Geezer Gangster to call Crime Stoppers at 479-782-7463.
