WESTMORELAND, Penn. (Crime Library) — The family of 16-year-old Arley Earhart is counting their blessings today.  It has been almost two months since the teen's disappearance, and her family was beginning to fear the worst.

On Tuesday night, Arley was reunited with her family after a friend brought her home.  Her blonde hair had been dyed red, but other than that, she looked the same as she did on the day she disappeared.

Arley told her mother that a married couple had dropped her off at her friend's house.  She said they were from Greensburg and that she had been staying with them since she ran away.  Arley would not elaborate on what she had been doing and she refused to identify the couple for fear of getting them in trouble.

Latrobe Police Chief Charles Huska is happy that Arley is home safe, but is dismayed that she is not willing to tell police who she was with.  His department spent a lot of time and money looking for her, and if someone took advantage of her or forced her to stay with them, Huska wants to know about it.

"We'd have to examine the facts at the time," Huska told WTAE yesterday afternoon.  "As of right now, she's not saying much about where she was or what she was doing."
