Girl Says She Was Held as Virtual Sex Slave, Threatened with Death if She Tried to Flee

But if Kach, in her girlish imagination, had expected to live a fairy tale life with her older lover, she was desperately wrong, according to court papers.

As she told authorities during her March 21 interview, Hose almost immediately made her a prisoner. "(S)hortly after moving in with Hose," according to court papers, "he instructed her not to leave the second floor bedroom and had threatened to kill her if she left or attempted to leave."

Within a week, she "was sharing Hose's bed," the court documents continue. "They engaged in vaginal, anal and oral intercoursethese acts continued through the time she became 18 years of age and had continued after she turned 18 years of age."

For the next four years, according to published reports, she was forced to remain in the house. As Allegheny County Police Superintendent Charles Moffat told reporters, on the rare occasion that visitors came to the house, she was ordered to remain in the bedroom, and according to one report, she was even instructed to memorize which floorboards in the bedroom creaked so she wouldn't accidentally step on one and give herself away. Hose, it alleged, exercised total control over her life. He reportedly told her what to wear, and fed her as he saw fit, most often peanut butter and jelly sandwiches washed down with water.

Perhaps most chilling of all was the allegation that Hose forced her to detail their sexual encounters in a calendar book "so he could brag to co-workers and friends of him engaging in sex and how often."
