Grant has also refused to give the sheriff's department access to Tara's clothing, which they say they need so that dogs could try to track her. Authorities say that Grant will not allow them in the house, and they do not have enough cause to obtain a search warrant.
Yesterday, Sheriff Hackel announced that his department is putting togethera joint task force with the Macomb County prosecutor and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in hopes of solving Tara's disappearance. The group will be sitting down later this week to discuss their options.

A spokesperson for the Macomb County Sheriff's Department says they have enlisted the aid of the National Center for Missing Adults to help in the search for Tara. According to their website, the organization "serves as a national repository of information accessible to the general public, advocacy groups, and law enforcement, medical examiners and coroners." They will be posting a profile of Grant on the website later this week.
