COURT TV, Crime Library — Executive editor Marilyn Bardsley has published new details on the life of notorious serial killer Karla Homolka, and allegations that she recently married and gave birth to a baby boy.  For more information on this developing story, be sure to read Marilyn's report.  Homolka was released from prison in July of 2005, after serving a 12-year sentence she received as a result of accepting a plea bargain from the Crown.  In the year and a half since her release, she has legally changed her name and her appearance.  To stay up to date on future stories about Homolka and her ex-husband/cohort Paul Bernardo, be sure to bookmark Crime Library's full coverage page.

Phoenix, AZ — The wife of an accused serial killer, Mark Goudeau, has created a website on which she states her husband is an innocent man, and not the brutal serial killer authorities claim him to be.  On the website, Goudeau's wife, Wendy Carr, claims the killings have not stopped and, as evidence, she directs visitors of the site to several news articles, which purportedly mention recent murders that match the same MO as the Baseline killings.  Goudeau has been in custody since September, when he was arrested for an unrelated assault.  The Baseline Killer case includes 23 shootings and rapes that left nine people dead.

HOLLYWOOD — The film Hannibal Rising, hit the box office this week, but it has failed to gross the numbers producers were hoping for.  The film, which chronicles the life of young Hannibal Lector and his pre-cannibalistic life in war-torn Europe, has received less-than-stellar reviews by moviegoers and critics alike.  For more information on Lector and his previous films, visit Crime Library's full coverage page.
